Who is responsible for YetiFest™?
The Suttons Bay Chamber of Commerce, Traverse Area Recreational and Transportation Trails, Inc. (TART) and the Suttons Bay Schools.
Why now, why do a YetiFest™ at all?
Why not? What a great time of year to get out and enjoy beautiful Suttons Bay. Besides, this event is not only a “fun-raiser” but also a fundraiser designed to benefit the Suttons Bay Chamber, Suttons Bay Schools and TART, all non-profits doing great things for the local community. Proceeds from this event will help our cash strapped school, bolster our Chambers efforts to promote Suttons Bay as a great place to play, live and work while also helping us build the Leelanau Trail system through the village and make us a destination location to cyclists at all levels.
Where is YetiFest™ located?
YetiFest™ will be held in various locations in and around the village of Suttons Bay, Michigan- Latitude: 45.0008328 – Longitude: -85.6328612. We’re located just 17 miles north and west of Traverse City, Michigan at the southern gateway to Leelanau County, one of the prettiest places on the planet, which of course is why Yeti may be sighted here.
